You can now make quick and easy changes to your existing Deliveroo menu in Restaurant Hub.

To make these changes:

1. Viewing and managing your menu(s)

With Restaurant Hub you can view all of the menus associated with your organisation on the Menus page.

View and manage menu(s):

  • Navigate to the Menus page in Restaurant Hub
  • View Menus associated to the organisation selected in the drop-down on the top left of the page
  • If you have more than one organisation use the drop down on the top left of the page to switch between organisations to view and manage your menu(s).

On the Menus page under the Menu name, you will also be able to see how many Restaurant sites your menu(s) are published to.

Duplicate your Menu:

  • Navigate to the Menus page in Restaurant Hub
  • Find the menu you would like to duplicate
  • Click the three dots next to Edit Menu
  • Select Duplicate Menu
  • Your Menu will be duplicated and the duplicate menu will show as a (copy) of the original menu

Remove your Menu:

  • Navigate to the Menus page in Restaurant Hub
  • Find the menu you would like to delete
  • Click the three dots next to Edit Menu
  • Select Delete Menu (this option will only be available for Menus not assigned to Restaurant sites)
  • Your Menu will be deleted

2. Editing menu names

You can easily edit the names on the menu page.

Edit menu name:

  • Navigate to menus page on Restaurant Hub
  • Click on the pencil icon
  • Edit the menu name
  • Click Save

3. Publishing a menu to one or multiple restaurant sites

You can publish a menu to one or multiple restaurant sites in your Organisation.

Publish a menu to one restaurant site:

  • Navigate to the Menus page in Restaurant Hub
  • Click to Edit Menu
  • Click Publish in the top right corner

Publish a menu to multiple restaurant sites:

  • Navigate to the Menus page in Restaurant Hub
  • Click to Edit Menu
  • Click the three dots next to Publish in the top right corner
  • Click Choose sites to publish to
  • Select each of the sites that you would like to publish this menu to
  • Click Save

4. Adding, editing and removing a menu item

With the Restaurant Hub you can add, edit and remove menu items using Menu Manager.

Adding a new menu item:

  • Go to Menus
  • Go to the category you’d like to add your new menu item
  • Select new item – it’s at the end of the items in the category
  • Add information to this item like images, names, descriptions, prices, and tax rates
  • Click save once you’re finished
  • Click publish to set the menu live

Editing a menu item:

  • Click the menu item you want to edit
  • Make any changes to the item you want, this includes images, names, descriptions, prices and tax rates
  • Click save once you’re finished
  • Click publish to set the menu live

Removing a menu item:

  • Click the item you want to remove
  • Click delete item
  • Confirm you want to remove this item
  • Click publish to set the menu live

5. Adding, editing and removing categories

Categories are how you group items together i.e. Poké, Salads, Starters etc.

Add a category:

  • Go to the bottom of your menu
  • Select new category
  • Choose a category name and write an optional description for your category

Move a category:

  • Choose which category you’d like to move up or down on your menu.
  • Select the ‘...’ button on the top right of the category
  • Select change position

Edit a category:

  • Go to the category you want to make changes to
  • Select the pencil icon on the right of the category name or description to make changes

Removing a category:

  • Go to the category you want to remove
  • Select the ‘...’ button on the top right of the category
  • Select delete category
  • Confirm you’d like to delete this category and all its items

6. Adding, editing and removing options

Options are the choices you give customers to customise their order.

Adding an option:

  • You have to add options at a category level
  • Go to the category where you’d like to add options
  • Select add options
  • Select create new options
  • Write the name of the option

e.g. Would you like a drink? or What sauce would you like?

  • Add the different choices e.g. Water, Soda, Milkshake, or Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo
  • Decide if you want to add an extra charge to these options
  • Set limits to the number of options a customer can choose
  • Decide if customers must choose these options or not
  • Assign these options to a single item in the category or to all items in the category
  • You'll also be able to add options from existing categories or cross-sell existing items.

Editing an option:

You have to add options at a category level.

  • Go to the category where you’d like to add options
  • Select add options
  • Select the option you would like to edit by clicking on the pencil icon
  • Edit the name, price, tax, limit and which items these options are assigned to.

Deleting an option:

  • You have to add options at a category level
  • Go to the category where you’d like to add options
  • Select add options
  • Select delete to remove the option.

7. Adding, editing and removing item photos

With the Restaurant Hub you can add, edit and remove item photos.

Adding an item photo:

  • Click into a menu item
  • Click to Upload photo
  • Select a photo to upload
  • Once the photo is uploaded, click to Save
  • Publish menu and your photo will be reviewed by our team

Editing an item photo:

  • Click into a menu item
  • Click into the Actions drop-down
  • Click to Delete photo
  • To upload a new photo, click to Upload photo
  • Select a photo to upload
  • Once the photo is uploaded, click to Save
  • Publish menu and your photo will be reviewed by our team

Deleting a photo:

  • Click into a menu item
  • Click into the Actions drop-down
  • Click to Delete photo
  • Click to Save
  • Publish menu for your changes to take effect

8. Adding and editing hero images

Uploading new hero photos:

  • With the Restaurant Hub you can upload new hero photos

Adding a new hero photo:

  • At the top of the menu, click on the image icon at the bottom right corner of the hero image
  • Click to Upload photo
  • Select a photo to upload
  • Once the photo is uploaded, click to Save
  • Publish menu and your photo will be reviewed by our team

Editing Hero photo

  • At the top of the menu, click on the image icon at the bottom right corner of the hero image
  • Click Actions
  • To upload a new hero image, click to Upload new photo
  • Select an image to upload
  • Once the image is uploaded, click Save
  • Publish your menu and your new hero photo will be reviewed by our team

Tip: When you upload a new hero image it will replace your existing photo once accepted.
