How to manage Stacked Orders in Order Manager

Stacked orders are orders assigned to the same rider for collection and delivery. With Order Manager, stacked orders stay on separate order cards while you're preparing them. This makes it easier to track the progress of each order before they're grouped

Review stacked orders

While stacked orders are being prepared, each order appears on its own order card.

With Order Manager, you can now:

  • track each order separately

  • see each order's preparation progress

  • view preparation and rider arrival times for every order

Prepare each order independently

Each stacked order moves through the preparation journey independently.

For example:

  • one order may be Ready

  • another may still be Preparing

Mark each order in the stack as Order Ready as it becomes ready for collection. This lets riders know which orders are ready to collect, even if other orders in the stack are still being prepared.

With Order Manager, each order has its own status, making it easier to see what needs your attention next.

Group orders for collection

Once all stacked orders are ready, they're grouped together for collection.

The grouped view shows:

  • the rider's arrival time

  • the orders included in the pickup

  • when the rider is expected to collect them

With Order Manager, orders are automatically grouped when they're ready, making handover to the rider quicker and easier.

With separate order cards, clearer order status and automatic grouping for collection, Order Manager makes it easier to manage stacked orders from preparation through to pickup.

* In Order Manager, stacked orders are labelled as Batched pickup. Throughout this article, "stacked orders" and "batched orders" refer to the same type of order.
