Multibuy [UKI + UAE]:

We are excited to introduce a new Grocery and Retail offer mechanic called Multibuy. This innovative mechanic will empower you to craft attractive offers like "Buy any 3 Bottles of Wine for 25% off" or "Buy any 4 fruit for £7." By leveraging this popular bulk-buying strategy, you can now seamlessly replicate your in-store promotional tactics on Deliveroo, ensuring customers receive the same great value online as they would in-store.

WHY:

This initiative stems from the widespread popularity of bulk-buying mechanics among our partners. With Multibuy, you can more accurately mirror your in-store promotional strategies on Deliveroo, delivering the same value to customers regardless of where they are purchasing

WHAT:

Multibuy is a bulk-purchase offer that aligns with your in-store promotions. This new capability allows for greater flexibility and precision in promotional strategies, enabling you to attract more customers by offering competitive deals directly through Deliveroo. As a result, customers can enjoy the same discounts and offers they love from their favourite stores, now conveniently available online.

How to put the offer in place:

If you are not integrated, please follow the steps below to start using the Multibuy mechanic. If you are integrated, please get in touch with your dedicated Account Manager or your Technical Account Manager to arrange testing of the mechanic before use.

  1. Access the Hub App

  2. Navigate to Marketer Offer

  3. Create New Offer

  4. Create CSV using template provided

  5. Upload CSV (Note: This is different from other offers)

  • Three new columns required:

  • Group ID: Identifies items to be grouped together.

  • Quantity: Specifies the number of items needed for the multibuy.

  • Bundle Amount (a new column used only for 2 out of the 4 multibuy offers): Shows the bundle amount for single item multibuy & bundle amount for multiple item multibuy.
Please Note: For Y% off multibuy offers, please fill in columns Discount, Group ID & Quantity.

*You will be alerted if there is an issue with your CSV, and will be instructed on how to fix it.

Please note: If you have any existing bundles in place that fit the ‘Multibuy’ criteria (e.g. 2 cheese for £5), please cancel these offers and re-upload them in the ‘Multibuy’ mechanic.

£ off Item [Global]:

The recently launched ‘£ off Item’ mechanic empowers Grocery partners to provide discounts on specific items rather than the entire menu. This feature helps our Grocery partners better align their Deliveroo menu with in-store deals and enhance the perception of better value for customers.

The ‘£ off Item’ mechanic allows partners to run item-level discounts, which can lead to a boost in sales. By using this mechanic, partners can easily recreate their in-store promotional experience, thereby enhancing customers' perception of value. This mechanic aims to benefit partners by raising the average order value, attracting new customers, and increasing order volume, ultimately resulting in higher sales and customer loyalty.
