What’s the latest iMin firmware update and how does it benefit me?

When installed, the latest iMin firmware update helps improve your picking operations and ensure your device is working optimally by:

  • Updating your Picking App automatically in the background without Picker’s intervention, when the app is not running

  • Reminding pickers to update the Picking App via push notifications every 4 hours, when the app is running

  • Locking in the device volume to prevent pickers from turning off the sound and reduce order rejections due inaudible notifications for new orders

  • Supporting wifi passwords with more than 16 characters via the Startup Wizard

  • Allowing you to activate new devices via SIM cards

  • Installing the Picking App by default in new iMin devices

How can I update my iMin firmware?

To install the latest iMin firmware, make sure you’re connected to the internet via Wifi or mobile network before starting the update process. Once connected, follow these simple steps:

1. Open the “Tools” folder on the Home screen

2. Press “Wireless Upgrade”

3. Press "Download" to start downloading the latest firmware

4. Once the download is complete, press "Restart Immediately" to update the device firmware.

5. The device will show an “installation successful” message upon restart. Tap OK.

How long does it take for the firmware to update?

The update process may take up to 30 minutes. Please be patient.
