Customers on Deliveroo can choose to schedule an order in advance for delivery at a specific time. Scheduling an order makes it easy for our customers to plan food for their day. They can order in the morning for lunch, for their family on the way home from work or to arrange a team lunch for the next day at work.

How do scheduled orders work?

When you accept a new scheduled order you can see the order details and when it’s scheduled to be picked up.

Once you accept a scheduled order, it will appear in the ‘Prepare Later’ section of your tablet.

We remind you when it’s time for the scheduled order to be prepared by asking you to confirm the order. Once you confirm the order it will move to the top of your order list.

Can I turn off scheduled orders?

As a restaurant, you can choose whether or not to accept scheduled orders. If you choose to accept scheduled orders, your restaurant will always be visible on Deliveroo, even when you’re closed, so customers can schedule an order for later.

If you choose not to accept scheduled orders, your restaurant will only be visible to customers when you’re open.

Who do I contact to turn scheduled orders off (or on)?

Why isn’t my restaurant visible on Deliveroo when I’m closed?

If you’ve chosen not to accept scheduled orders, your restaurant will only be visible to customers when you’re open. We recommend turning on scheduled orders so you don’t miss out on customers who want to place an order for later.
