Your opening hours play a big role in how many orders you receive.
First, make sure your opening hours match the times you're able to prepare and fulfil delivery orders. Then, stay open during those hours whenever you can.
If it works for your business, opening for longer can also help you reach more customers. Every extra hour you're available is another opportunity for someone to discover your business and place an order.
Getting your opening hours right can help you:
Accept orders when you're ready to prepare them, instead of missing out on sales
Avoid rejecting orders you can't fulfil, helping protect your customer rating and build trust
Stay visible in the app by opening during the hours you've set
Reach more customers by being available for longer
Editing your opening hours in Hub
To check and change your opening hours go into Hub and head to the opening hours tab. You can change your opening hours permanently or temporarily for bank holidays, training or events.
Access opening hours through the opening hours tab
Select a day, and add or change the hours
Use the “+ Add Hours” button to add extra shifts on the same day
Remember to “Save Changes” after editing
Note: that you cannot set '0' opening hours.
If you’re planning to close for a full day for a holiday, refurbishments or staff training you should schedule a day off instead.
