Price Transparency on Deliveroo: Prix Vérifiés & High Markup Visibility (France)

Deliveroo provides pricing transparency features to help customers better understand how restaurant pricing works on the platform.

These features highlight restaurants that match in-store pricing. The goal is to improve transparency while supporting a fair and competitive marketplace.

Prix Vérifiés

Restaurants with an average markup of 0% on up to 20 top sales items may receive:

  • A Price Validated banner on their menu

  • Placement in a dedicated carousel or collection

  • Messaging explaining how pricing is verified

Eligibility is based on your average GMV-weighted markup, which compares the total price of your top 20 menu items sold on Deliveroo (by GMV) and the total price of the same items at your physical site. Markup scores are calculated across the full menu and once found eligible, we reviewed monthly.

A restaurant may qualify for Prix Vérifiés even if a small number of items are priced slightly higher, as eligibility is based on the overall average markup rather than individual items.

How Eligibility Works

Eligibility is based on your average GMV-weighted markup, which compares your Deliveroo prices to verified in-store prices.

  • Once found eligible, markup data is reviewed monthly.

  • Merchandising refreshes on the 5th of each month using the previous month’s data.

  • Restaurants with an average markup above 0% are not featured.

If pricing data has not been collected recently, or if a restaurant is in a grace period or outside the Value Programme scope, it may not be included.

Appeals and Data Accuracy

If you believe your markup score does not accurately reflect your in-store pricing, you can submit an appeal through:

Partner Hub → Value Programme Section → Markup section

If your appeal is approved:

  • Your markup score updates.

  • Your merchandising eligibility adjusts accordingly.

  • Changes can take effect immediately, without waiting for the next monthly refresh.

Maintaining accurate pricing ensures customer-facing messaging remains clear and up to date.

  • This initiative supports pricing transparency and customer trust.

  • It does not change your commission rate.

  • It does not adjust ranking.

  • It is not a Value Programme programme benefit.

  • Partners cannot opt out of this merchandising feature.

By making pricing clearer at key points in the customer journey, these features strengthen trust, improve value perception, and support a fair and competitive marketplace.
