The Orders section of the Sales page provides insights into your sales; this is a great place to see the current day’s performance.
You will now be able to see both your Gross Sales and Net Sales in the Orders section on the Sales Page, which enables you to see your sales before and after discounts are applied. These two metrics are accompanied by Order Volume and Average Order Value.
Additionally, these metrics will be clearly defined in the Orders section on the Sales Page. To aid your understanding, see their definitions below:
Gross sales: The total amount made in sales during your selected time period, before any discounts.
Net sales: The total amount made in sales during your selected time period, accounting for discounted items sold.
Order volume: The total number of accepted orders during your selected time period.
Average order value: The average value per order, calculated by dividing your net sales by total order volume.
