How do I enter Experience Mode?
Experience Mode allows you to update or configure your device before activation.
Follow these steps:
Turn on the device by pressing the Power button.
Tap the “Hello!” screen.
Select your Language and press Next.
Select your Country/Region and press Next.
Connect to a network:
If using a SIM card, the device connects automatically.
If using WiFi or hotspot, select your network and connect.
Tap “Experience mode” (top right).
Tap “Got it” in the pop-up.
You will now see a countdown timer on the screen. This confirms you are in Experience Mode.
How do I exit Experience Mode?
Tap the countdown timer icon (clock at the bottom right).
Choose one of the following:
End the Experience – Resets and restarts the device.
Activate – Exits Experience Mode and begins activation.
How do I update the firmware on my iMin device?
Keeping your firmware updated ensures your device works correctly.
Connect to the internet (WiFi or mobile network).
Open the Tools folder.
Tap Wireless Upgrade.
Tap Download to install the latest firmware.
Once complete, tap Restart Immediately.
The update process may take up to 30 minutes.
When installation is successful:
You will see an “installation successful” message.
Tap OK.
The device will navigate to the home screen.

My device won’t accept a WiFi password longer than 16 characters. How do I fix this?
This issue is resolved in the latest firmware.
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Connect using a temporary hotspot
Turn on the device.
Tap the “Hello!” screen.
Select language → Next.
Select country/region → Next.
Create a temporary mobile hotspot with a password under 16 characters.
Connect to this hotspot.
Tap Next.
Step 2: Enter Experience Mode
Tap Experience mode (top right).
Tap Got it.
Step 3: Update firmware
Open Tools.
Tap Wireless Upgrade.
Tap Download.
Tap Restart Immediately once complete.
This process may take up to 30 minutes.
After restart:
Tap OK when installation is successful.
You will return to the home screen.
Step 4: Activate the device
Tap the countdown timer icon.
Tap Activate.
Connect to your standard WiFi network (any password length will now work).
Press Next.
Agree to the terms and conditions.
Press Next.
Select Start Configuration.
I’m activating a new device with a SIM card, but I get an error. What should I do?
This issue is also resolved in the latest firmware.

Insert the SIM card.
Turn on the device.
Tap the “Hello!” screen.
Select language → Next.
Select country/region → Next.
Tap Experience mode (top right).
Tap Got it.
The device should automatically connect to the mobile network.
Step 2: Update firmware
Open Tools.
Tap Wireless Upgrade.
Tap Download (confirm mobile network download).
Tap Restart Immediately.
This may take up to 30 minutes.
After restart:
Tap OK when installation is successful.
Tap Got it to continue in Experience Mode.
Step 3: Activate the device
Tap the countdown timer icon.
Tap Activate.
You do not need to connect to WiFi.
Confirm the screen shows “SIM Connected Successfully.”
Press Next.
Agree to terms and conditions.
Press Start Configuration.
I can’t find the Deliveroo Order Picker app. How do I install it?
Open iMin Store.
Tap the search bar.
Search for Deliveroo Order Picker.
Tap Install.
The app will download and install onto your device.
