Partner Hub now offers Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance security, reduce the risk of unauthorised access, and protect sensitive business information and actions. This new feature is crucial for safeguarding your account and helping ensure that only authorised users can perform critical operations.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

MFA is a security method that requires users to provide two or more distinct forms of identification before gaining access to an application or feature. These factors typically include something you know, such as a password, and something you have, like a one-time passcode.

Why was this feature introduced?

MFA was introduced to reduce the risk of unauthorised actions to Partner Hub. By adding an extra layer of security, we aim to protect sensitive business information and actions, such as the ability to request bank detail changes.

How to use MFA

Not all features in Hub require you to complete MFA, but when required you can take the following steps:

  1. A pop-up saying “You’ll need to confirm your account” will appear, meaning you will be required to complete MFA to proceed with your action. For example, you will need to complete MFA to edit your bank details.

  2. A 6-digit code will be sent to the email address associated with your Hub user account. Enter it on the pop-up screen as soon as possible, you will have 10 minutes to complete your action. Don’t worry, if you can not complete your action within 10 minutes, you can enter another code to get more time.
