Clearer menus help customers make better decisions and reduce confusion at the point of order.

Customers increasingly want to better understand how much food they’re ordering and what’s in it. When this information isn’t clear, it can slow decisions and lead to incorrect orders.

You can add party size, ingredients and nutrition information to your menu to help customers make more informed choices.

Adding this information is optional. You can choose which details to provide and only the information entered will be shown to customers.

What you can add to your menu

Party size

Party size shows how many people a dish is intended to serve (for example, Serves 2 or Serves 4).

This helps customers better understand portion size and choose the right amount of food.

Ingredients

Ingredients let you share what goes into a dish using a free-text field.

This helps customers understand what’s in a dish before ordering and make choices based on their preferences.

Example: Ingredients: Tomato sauce, mozzarella (milk), basil, olive oil

Ingredient information is shown as provided.

Note: Ingredient information is not a substitute for allergen advice.

Nutrition information and macronutrients

Nutrition information helps customers make more informed choices about what they order.

You can add the following macronutrient information for each item:

  • Energy (kJ and kcal)

  • Fat (including saturates)

  • Carbohydrates (including sugars)

  • Fibre

  • Protein

  • Salt

When provided, this information is set to be presented in the Deliveroo app.

Macronutrient information is optional. You can choose to provide some or all values. Only the information you provide will be displayed.

Note: Customisations to an item (such as added or removed modifiers) may not be reflected in the nutritional information shown.
